Amy Graham, MA, CCC-SLP
Amy received both her bachelors and masters degrees in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Fullerton and has been an SLP for over 20 years. She runs a private practice, Graham Speech Therapy, in Colorado Springs that specializes in the assessment and treatment of children with speech sound disorders. Amy is the creator of the Oral-Facial Exam and the Bjorem Speech Sound Cues Deck for Lateralization and has been a guest on several SLP podcasts (Speechie Side Up, The SLP Now Podcast, SLPs Wine & Cheese) speaking on topics such as treating Childhood Apraxia of Speech, treating lateral lisps, administering oral-mech exams, and running a private practice. Amy has a passion for helping other SLPs by providing practical and real-world tips for treating speech sound disorders, such as Childhood Apraxia of Speech, lateral lisps, phonological disorders, and that pesky /r/ sound. She also loves showing SLPs how to incorporate thorough oral-facial exams into their speech assessment batteries to help with differential diagnosis of speech sound disorders so that they can select more appropriate therapy strategies and see quicker progress.
